Home Loans
Loan products are available to tribal members and descendants on the White Earth Reservation and other areas of rural Minnesota to help qualified buyers achieve homeownership. Additional down-payment assistance loans are available to achieve affordable monthly payments.
Down-payment Assistance Loans (Second Mortgages)
- Up to $5,000 loan at 0% interest for purchase of owner-occupied principal residence
- Payments deferred until sale of home or maturity of first mortgage
- Buyers must qualify for and receive a homebuyer education certificate
All loans subject to credit approval. Interest rates are subject to change. Loans are available until funds are depleted.
WEII may refer loan requests to an affiliate, Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation, for access to additional products.
WEII does not provide loans for construction of new homes for personal use.

To request a loan payoff amount, please send a request by email to Audra Tonihka, or by mail to Loan Servicer, White Earth Investment Initiative, P.O. Box 66, Ogema, MN 56569-0066. This address also should be used for sending payments by mail.
