For some years, the Native American Community Clinic of Minneapolis has envisioned a healing environment where housing will be co-located with multiple medical and cultural services. In 2022, White Earth Investment Initiative supported NACC’s vision by providing a bridge loan to purchase land needed for an expanded clinic.

NACC Executive Officer and President Antony Stately, Ph.D., said purchasing land with WEII funding was an important first step, which allowed the project to gain momentum. “Prior to actually getting site control and actually purchasing the property, it felt like a pipe dream,” he said.
The Native American Community Clinic offers a wide range of health care services, including substance abuse, medical, behavioral health and dental. It is located at 1213 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis, Minn.
