WEII Begins Ag Lending in MN Tribal Communities

Our pilot project for lending to Native American farmers and ranchers has begun!

Loans will be provided for working capital, equipment, livestock held for sale, breeding stock and dairy herds, and crop input. Available loan amounts start at $2,000. All loans are subject to underwriting and credit approval. Collateral is required.

Financing of food-based agricultural, ranching and similar activities is the primary activity.

This includes growing, hunting, gathering and gardening for food-production purposes. It also includes value-added agriculture, to include all processes that allow raw products to feed people in Native Communities and beyond and that support engagement in the food market. Livestock, fisheries, aquaculture and forest products are included; hemp, cannabis and THC are excluded. Other limits may apply.
